  • Our firm's concentration is in urban garden design. Collectively, we have decades of expertise in solving the unique design, horticulture, construction and logistical challenges of New York City gardening. We know how to create a refuge of lush tranquility in the busy urban scene.
  • Our goal is to transform our client's townhouse garden, rooftop garden, terrace, or public promenade into a work of art. Our projects have included tiny jewel box gardens, terraces large and small, community gardens and public parks.
  • Garden Design by Dimitri is an offshoot of Dimitri's Garden Center. Dimitri Gravanis started in this business in 1959 as a florist on 89th and Madison. His family business evolved into Manhattan's largest garden center first located on East 86th Street, then on East 102nd Street. Today his grandchildren are running both the retail and design business.
